Good morning from Los Angeles! Wishing you a very happy 68th birthday and many more!! Spent yesterday looking at wedding venues with Alex and Sam's family and had a great lunch at Lure with everyone eating yummy seafood.
 

I am making lasagna and cheesecakes today for a small get together tonight with Jonathan, Francia, their baby Siena, Pierre, Alex and Sam. Winston sends his birthday love as well. He bought you a red ball and will keep it safe for you until he sees you again. Grandma and Grandpa bought tickets on sale to see you. I believe the dates are Jan 10-Feb 12. Chloe and I plan to meet up with you all in Penticton the weekend of Feb 5-8. We can make yummy appetizers and watch the Super Bowl!

Winston will likely stay home with Heather Overton again. She is coming to stay with him as well during my business trip to Miami Jan 18-21. Bob Altwein Oakridge Centre, Vancouver (Oakridge), BC Drove into town yesterday, to host a meet up of the Vancouver Urban Sketchers. Heavy rain and near parking pandemonium (in the underground parking) made surfacing. up in the food court, almost a relief. Well not quite, given the hordes of Christmas shoppers congregated around the Starbucks and all the fast food places, but at least we participants connected. One of the other sketchers, a young Japanese guy named Kaigo, also turned up in the sketch.

Dear Patrick! Happy Brithday from stormy Scandinavia! I visited India February through July 1990, spending 3½ months at a Leprosy Misson Hospital in Miraj as a med. student 'trainee' , this was 12 hrs south of Bombay, weekend trips to Mysore, Goa and Pune from there, and latter 6 weeks of stay in India traveling, by train, 2nd class - south to Kerala, Tamil Nadu , up to central India (don't recall towns) then, to New Dehli, further up to the Himalayas through Simla, for a short trek from Kulu Manali. Returning to New Dehli and home from there, stop over in Bagdad, two weeks before the Iraqi war of August 1990, just got out in time...
