Three-Wheeler Banana Leaf Blues: Sunday, November 1st!

Think like a wise man but communicate in the language of the people. -William Butler Yeats, poet, dramatist, essayist, Nobel laureate (1865-1939)

Got to Heathrow just after 2:00 PM, and once we had cleared customs, got on the Picadilly line to King s Cross, and then a short walk to the hotel. Cleaned up a bit, and headed out to look for supplies. During our meandering a, came across many pubs and bookstores. Finally found a Stainsburys and loaded up on cheese and wine. Went back to the room and had a wine and cheese supper with JoAnne and Einar.

Sunday: got up late due to jet lag and no sleep on Friday. Caught a bus to Trafalgar Square, and walked past the Horse Guards and through the park towards the Parliament Buildings. Went partway across the bridge, and then headed back to check out Westminster Abbey. Took the tube to Victoria Station and went to a pub for roast beef and all the trimmings. Went back to the Abbey for the evening service. Afterwards, bused and tubed it back to the hotel, where I sit now with a glass of M & S wine. Colin
